Why you need a spotter

I once had a weird thing happen where my shoulder kinda felt like it disconnected temporarily while doing military press with dumbells. It's scary stuff when you lose control of weight.

I've had the same happen to me before. These days all my overhead pressing is with the barbell.
 
I did this once when I was a teenager. I managed to roll it down to my legs than tilted it one way to get our from underneath it. This video was quite hilarious. Him screaming was priceless. Sucks when it happens to you, but that was admittedly quite funny.
 
I've almost smashed in my face in burning out with dumbbells when I was a kid

Very dangerous without a spotter.
