Why was Rumble able to do to Teixeira what Santos could not?
Does Rumble have better striking techniques, more power, or both?

His strangely performed uppercut made contact directly on the lower right side of Glover's chin/jaw, and most likely punched with enough force to break Glover's jaw since Glover's teeth flew out despite the mouthguard.

So a punch coming from someone as powerful as Rumble hitting an area where hitting it has a higher chance of dislocating someone's jaw pretty much would result in a KO, unlike Santos' punches which didn't land as clean as Rumbles' did.
 
That's not true at all. Rumble has shown composure over 3 and 5 round fights before.

Yep, that's why I think Phil Davis has a GOAT level chin, dude took 3 rounds of ammunition from Rampage and was still there.
