Because she won a fight against holm. If u win a fight on here ur a goat. If u lose a fight you suck and have always sucked.
 
It is what it is. She won the belt and she has a very good resume, which is more telling about the state of the division than it is about her due to her skillset. Most people just like her body though.

She seems to be a completely phoney person. Inside and outside. I can walk into the local super market and see hotter women there. And chances are those women are natty.

She ducked the rematch with Holly then cherry picked Nunes... Ala McGregor.

I really used to like her in SF. But her trying to beat us over the head with her sexuality is a complete turnoff. I still like her but not nearly as much as two or three years ago.

And the hypocrisy now is a massive strike against her in my book. She didn't feel she needed to give Holly the same chance Holly gave her because she finished the fight. Yet she figures she should get a rematch... GTFO !

But Zuffa or whatever the new company is called with DW still being the president. Will still be full on bullshit. Bisping vs Hendo is prime example number 1.

I try not to concern myself with things I can't control. It's just too aggravating. So I just hope the fairest fights will be made. But I dont hold my breath about it anymore at all. It's not worth it.
 
She's hyped because she beat the girl that beat Rousey. Before the Holm fight hardly anyone thought she was going to win that fight because she's not a great fighter. After the fight since she's now champ, everyone starts clitriding her and acting like she's the greatest fighter ever.
 
Honestly Miesha is underrated as a fighter now. She can definitely beat Nunes it just wasn't her night.
 
she thrives on stylist matchups. fast starters tear her up. oh and anyone named Ronda Rousey.
 
Miesha was only used as a pillow (a purple one, maybe? :>) for the Ronda haters.

She's hyped because she's been on top of the BW heap twice, and because she beat Holly Holm, who Sherdog had quickly and erroneously anointed the WBW GOAT. Hell, she even finished Cyborg's best opponent, Marloe Coenen.

Like most WMMA fighters, she simply does not have a well rounded skill set, and her striking defense looked terrible against Nunes. It did get her through five rounds with Holm with her face in one piece though.
 
She was in a battle with the girl who beat up Ronda Rousey and finished her.

Nunes is vicious for the first two rounds then gasses. Tate doesn't get started until the end of her fights. Everyone knows this. Bad timing if you will.

Because she beat holly Holm for the belt.
 
She gets hyped because she has a nice body and people like to hate Rousey, people were actually starting to give Tate a chance in a 3rd fight with Rousey which is ridiculous. She always gets praised for her heart and mental toughness but you could make a case that Rousey & Holm are both mentally tougher than her. For once the pressure was on Tate and she got punched then walked to the other side of the cage and laid down so Nunes could sub her, she didn't even wait for the choke.
