Why such high expectations for Lee?

Other than the Barboza fight that he dominated and still nearly lost, Lee has come up short in every main event.

tsk, tsk... hyperbole

He’s young, formerly a top 5 LW and potentially a top 5 WW. He’s far from ‘filler’.

I really like RDA and there is no question that he had his hands full with Lee for the majority of the fight.

Lee’s biggest problem now might be that he seems like a very emotional guy. All these losses are devastating to him.

When people said Conor changed the game forever, Lee thought he too could dress and talk like an asshole and good things would come of it. Conor didn't pave the way for others though. He predicted things for himself only. Lee cut a lot of weight for 155 like Conor at 145, but he couldn't run through smaller fighters like Conor. Lee's shittalking and self hype prove useless when he can't predict these tings.

Is it? He doesn't chain wrestle and doesn't integrate seemlessly his striking with his wrestling the way Colby/Usman can.
Lee's record in round 1 is very strong. I think his major deficiencies lie in areas that aren't technical and aren't easy to see when watching him fight until later rounds.

He talked it up and the hype machine got behind him. Some posters were trolling with their hype and others took it serious. He'll probably always do well against fighters who have shitty TDD.

According to sherdoggers he is still young and always developing his game.
Damn, they even said he was the guy to beat Khabib.

He could end like the next Erick Silva.

Trash talker that had a little streak going before Ferguson. Wears flamboyant clothing and tried to do the Conor McGregor thing to garner interest. That's really it in a nutshell.

He looks, talks and carries himself like a superstar. That matters more than fighting ability these days in the UFC.

He only got a push in the first place because he cussed Chiesa's mum.
Not true. No cuss was involved. He just said something like the mom will be in attendance or something benign. Chiesa was grasping for a chance to stand up for his mom so took offense to a non-offensive remark.

At least Kevin didn't blame the opponent's cornermen playing head games with his wraps or vasoline or commission weigh-in officials.

Isn’t his biggest win barboza and he nearly lost that fight.
I only tune in to see his smug face loose after he dances in thinking he is unbeatable
