Why no spinning hook kicks to the legs?

    They work and are frequently used in the style of karate i practice. (shinkyokushin)
    I also use it here and there whilst sparring in my muay thai/kickboxing class at my local mma gym
    They work well as the tornado kicks can be used from a distance if need be but also cause most think you'e going for the body or head so their focus on defence is above waist as opposed to their legs.

    The subjects here have been pretty much the same for the last 10 years. Same questions get asked over and over, then about 20 people answer the question with the same answer.
