It wasn't a bad fight, but I wish they would have been more active overall.

I'm not sure why, but everybody was so tentative on the main card tonight. Everybody. Every single fighter on the main card.

I used to say that and he can still do that, like tonight.

But he finished his previous two, only guy to finish Benavidez.

I like DJ all right and think he's a beast but this wasn't a very exciting fight. It wasn't bad, but I felt like what I saw was DJ outclassing but never really endangering a pretty tough guy in Ali, who basically had no real offensive answer for DJ but was good enough to avoid being finished.

I think the hate for him is ridiculous, particularly considering he actually does finish fights pretty regularly (or when he doesn't, he usually seems to be trying to). But I get that people don't find him an exciting person or particularly exciting fighter. I enjoy his fights but don't really get pumped or nervous for them.

Rogan kept praising how good DJ was. If so, then why couldn't he finish the fight? He outpointed Ali on strikes and defense, but he spent the whole fight in clinch with the guy. Good equals beating your opponent, not stalling them.

unfortunetly, the card sucked so bad that mighty mouse's only saving grace tonight would have been getting a knock out. he dominated, but was already in a deep hole before he even made his entrance
