Why is there no talk of Robbie Lawler at UFC 200? What's next for him?

If I'm not mistaken he doesn't have a scheduled fight. Could it be they are really trying to get a superfight w/ GSP? Or just nothing scheduled?

Robbie is one of my all time favorites and of course I'd love to see the big fight vs. GSP, but also think Wonderboy would be a terrific fight down the line.

I think he said he wanted to sit out until the Summer unless the UFC really needed him.

There's already potentially 3, 5 round fights on the card. 4 would probably be too much. They need to save some title fights for other cards.

Think they were saving him on the side to try and make the GSP fight for 200. looks very doubtful at this point. i'd rather wait and see him vs winner of rory/wb than see him vs woodley.

I think the UFC really wants Robbie's next fight to be with Wonerboy. I know Rory will likely win that fight but I think the UFC wants a new challenge for Robbie... so that truly is a number one contender bout and it's less than a month before 200. After he fights that guy he'll probably fight Nate and then GSP. That's just my theory though. Maybe he's just enjoying the time off after both Rory and Carlos really took some years off his life.

That was nearly 2 years ago and he racked up two wins against some really good competition, though the fight with Gastelum was far from an impressive performance. He's def earned his shot imo.
