Nick Diaz seems like he is so much better than Nate Diaz despite the fact that Nick has more wear and tear and yet he keeps going while Nate looked awesome from 2007-2011 and now he has kind of fizzled out!

Why is that? Why has Nick gotten better than Nate despite the damage he has received while Nate fizzled out after a while?

Also Nick has never been subbed and his one true KO loss was to Jeremy which he avenged!

I think if nate stayed out of the ufc and build up wins in strikforce or whatever and then beat bj at ww he would be viewed in a similar way. I think Nick is good, but he he's no great, despite how much I wanted him to prove to be when he went back to the ufc.

He's not, he faced sub par competition for the majority of his career

Dude are you serious!!!???

Nick is one of the greatest fighters in the world of mma!!!!

He pretty much took a roided up Anderson Silva to a decision and he has some solid wins and not many can actively engage him in a striking or submission war.

B/c he's better. I don't really know but he is. Nate is pretty dang good though. Nick just has more skill I guess.

lol'ed at roided up Silva, I think he just took something to help him recover and cut weight and you make it sound like he was in there with 20 inch arms haha

I'm waiting for the argument as to why they would be near the same level in the first place.

Typically when you have two brothers who are both athletes, one tends to be quite a bit better than the other.

Nate is his own person but lives in his brothers shadow, he's following in his brothers foot steps even with the money/ negotiations. He needs to stop doing what Nick says and does and work more on what he wants to do, only then will we see what he's truly capable of.

Nate has actually beat better competition. Nate loses to everyone good

I can't tell if you're being facetious or not.

I think nick is immensely talented, but his mental hang ups really fuck him up and prevent him from truly being one of the greats. He's a great fighter though, I'm not trying to take that away from him. But I'm not really interested in seeing him fight for a title or anything because he'll give up when he realizes the other guy thought up a gameplan.

They're two different people. I've talked to both guys before and it seems like they don't hang out together that much but live their own lives. Nick seems more focused and trains all the time, does triathlons, etc. Not sure if Nate goes as hard and it seems like he sort of tries to be like big brother, meaning I'm not sure if he's as much a born fighter as he is just making a career choice that was right in front of him. I do think he could be much better if he had more determination. He could easily beat that guy that headkick KO'd him and put up a better fight with Bendo, but it seems like he lacks the focus that Nick has.

Nate has actually beat better competition. Nate loses to everyone good

I simply do NOT agree with that statement. I'd say Nick has actually beat better competition. Nick loses to everyone good.

Only on sherdog.com do you get an award for participation just for taking a fight to a decision and still losing.
