Why is MMA striking so sloppy?

Because you don't pay for the main card fights

I stream them.

You need much time to develop good striking and if you get wrestlefucked all that time went down the drain. So instead of investing all of your time in striking you need to set some aside for grappling. The result of this is that you will never be as good a striker as somebody who invests 100% of their time in striking. It is pretty easy to understand.

Also, CM Punk doesn't represent "MMA strikers".

Because you cherry picked your gifs

<[analyzed}>

Yeah did this fucking guy watch the Heavyweight boxing title fight the other day? 40/0 american champion boxer that swings wildy and has many holes and openings, the dude was just fighting like any random MMA dude swinging for the fences. He could easily be KO'd in MMA if he was not careful since his style is similar to how some MMA dudes fight.

People forget boxers have alot of scrubs and holes in their game too and that is all they do.

This is the 'current' boxing heavyweight champion of the world in the states. INCREDIBLE ACCURACY and TIMING (yeah right, sloppy as fuck). Get the fuck out of here. Boxers have shit tons of holes in their game and that is all they do. Tell me when you have seen an MMA champion that is undefeated throw punches that bad. If an MMA guy that was even 10/2 (this boxer is 40/0) threw those same punches you would be saying how sloppy and bad they are :)

Deontay is a good boxer. 40-0 39 KO

He only goes wild when his opponent is hurt.

Lol what a bunch a lame gifs to prove your point.

For the record though it is a wonder shields never developed any hands with the rat pack

Hehehe, TS....dont come to a sherdog board and throw stank. and dont cherry pick

He is very wild and sloppy in most of his fights. Boxing fans even admit this, and he is at the highest level possible. 'Good boxer' LMAO, wonder what the bad ones look like.

Its hard to have perfect striking when you have to worry about Kicks/Elbows/Knees/Takedowns/Submissions/Grinding/Clinching/etc......and then you dont even necessarily need good striking/punching if youre good enough at those

Lol yeah picks CM punk a dude who barely knows anything about striking and came from the WWE and is 0/1 against a 23 or 24 yr old fighter whos not world class.

Because MMA gyms hire former cardio kickboxing instructors.

Everytime I see an Instagram training video, where a fighter is doing something biomechanically wrong, the "coach" doesn't stop and address the problem. The only time I observed that was when Cyborg trained with one of Mayweather's coaches.

What is TRULY ironic is, you are mocking MMA striking, but have you seen what fucking happens when a kickboxing (alot of MMA strikes are kickboxers) fights a boxer? Kickboxing world champ vs boxing world champ at heavyweight and literally 1 headkick was thrown to start the fight and boxer gave up. Youtube it. A 70% power headkick at most and he went NOPE i am done. Never seen him do that in boxing. Fight lasted 10-20 seconds.
