Exactly, why do we? It's stupid as hell. Humans are bum athletes with the exception of endurance. We are actually the best long distance runners on land.

The only human sports one should watch are ultra marathon, iron man and other endurance based events.

Because he's trying to emulate Floyd in hopes that people will perceive them as comparable when it's really not even close from a financial standpoint. It's all about keeping a high profile and staying relevant in the media without actually fighting. He wants to convince everyone that he's the biggest money fight in any combat sport so he can get paid more than his abilities actually warrant. We all know he's not the most skilled fighter on the roster by a long shot, and it's only a matter of time before he loses, so he wants to capitalize as much as he can while he still can.
