Why is Colby Covington hated for his trash talk so much?

Personally I don't hate him(don't care enough about him for that) but the main issue with his trash talking is that it lacks finesse and is often unwitty. He's super discount Chael. Calling the cops on Werdum after talking a big game doesn't help either.

For starters, I dislike Conor's trash talk as well. To the point, Colby comes across as a cheap wannabe Conor.

His act is completely manufactured, and he comes off like his trying way too hard.

You can love Conor or hate him, but the man pulls off his act and entertains the audience. Chael did the same thing before Conor, and while i think most people realized it was an act, on the mic, he was smooth, and never broke character...

Cody is just friggin awkward, and douchie... this is not entertaining, and the only reason it is an attention grabber, is because it is so painfully awkward and cringeworthy.
