I mean, I get it, Mark Hunt has good stand up and hits hard, and Brock has lost stand up wars in the past, but I've never seen anyone scrambling so desperately away from stand up, as if Hunt was holding a knife. Brock didn't even throw punches, he just pushed away. He has an insane reach advantage and crazy power as we can tell from his deadly gnp. If he gets a half decent boxing coach he could destroy people in the stand up. Dude has the reach and athleticism of that demon boss in ready to rumble boxing, he is missing some serious opportunities here.

Because this could have happened!

Because he isn't very good at it, but is he'll on earth from the top position

You're criticizing a wrestler for wrestling?

Brock's game plan was perfect. Fuck off.

yeah brock should have just stayed on the feet and not do what he's good at!

hunt was trying to stuff takedowns, whys he so scared of the ground!

Yeah, it was strange to see but it seems his standup hasn't improved in his absence. However, once he gets hold of you...

Because he didn't want to eat a wrecking ball sandwich. Do you blame him?

Why exchange with one of the hardest punchers in the sport if you don't have to?

do you think you wouldn't fear Hunt's standup?

Because he's better at wrestling and top control then he is at striking. Same with a striker, why would the striker start grappling if he has a clear advantage on the feet? It's a stupid question.

Because believe it or not he listened to the criticism he got from the public so he had doubt in his mind. But he proved to himself he's not as atrocious as people make him out to be.

Because, like most people, it's natural to not want to be punched in the face.

No, he's never been in a standup war. Crazy power? No. Crazy strength and crazy punching power are not the same thing.

It's too late for him to get good at something he has little experience with or natural ability at, so he should stick with wrestling, which he has been doing for years and is very good at.

why is hunt so terrified of the ground game? did you see how desperately he wanted to get back up instead of locking brock in guard?

Classic big man syndrome always use to being he bigger man, the bully, the one always doing the punching never ever being challenged. Now as an adult being blasted in the face with fists is not a common feeling to Brock something that don't happen to the biggest guy in the room.

Great reach alone doesn't make you a good striker TS.
Brock has a very weak stand up game and poor striking experience.
If he wants to be a champ again, he has to improve that drastically.
It's clearly below MMA average standard.

Hunt just needs one gap and believe me, he would find it, if Brock wouldn't were able to put him down.

Because he doesnt want to get knocked out, he wrassles , its what he does.
