The Trump administration is disqualifying entire populations of qualified Americans. Why though?

We are seeing the dismissal of staff in all sectors based on race, gender and ideology. From Walmart employees to 4 star generals to FBI and CIA staff.

So how on earth do these dismissals benefit all Americans?
Can someone explain how this pays off for everyone and not just an extremely small select group of people?

Because hes a moron? DEI isn't always a bad thing, but they're using it as some sort of spooky awful naughty no no thing to fire people who have been doing good work for years for people who utterly suck or have no idea what they're doing.

Pretty sure the president doesn't hire or fire Walmart employees, but grant programs and executive branch departments designed to promote racial and sexual discrimination are blatantly unconstitutional, and if it costs 3 goddamn cents of my tax money, then give me back my 3 cents and tell the diversity officers to go back to scamming college kids, because we're done with that grift on taxpayers.
 
Yeah, meritocracy is one piece. But I also think that DEI can be harmful in a different way as well. It puts minorities in an uncomfortable place as well with imposter syndrome. And then you got people like here automatically assuming that they only got the job because they look a certain way.

It would be if departments were mandated to only hire women or gay people and ethnic minorities. Thats never been the case.

DEI hires have to meet the same qualifications as their male hetero caucasian peers and was brought about to combat systemic discrimination. So you haven’t answered the question how anti-woke and anti DEI benefit everyone.
