Why I respect Chael Sonnen

Chael has tried to claim he didn't tap after he did

when fitch does what sonnen does people find it boring, but Chael convinced everyone he was exciting by talking shit so at least people cared win or loss.

Fitch never did anything like this

Sonnen is a glorified journeyman who got popular after getting beat by injured Silva while being juiced.

He would always quit when things got tough.

Let’s not compare a failed wwe character to a double champ

Never made an excuse for losing fights including some very high profile fights against guys he doesnt like.

Its a nice change from guys like Conor who come out after every loss claiming they where injured or un-motivated. You dont really know a guy until he losses. Its easy to be humble when you are victorious. All the fake bs Conor spits out before each fight claiming he is the best version of himself and how great his training is going and then the second he loses finds multiple excuses for why he lost. Not to mention still crying about it for over a year.

Chael Sonnen will always be higher up my lists for respected fighters than Conor regardless of what he's been caught for in MMA.

I tried but its hard having respect for someone like Conor who is such a fake person. This has nothing to do with blind hate this is just the truth.

Conor brings excitment but to be honest he's a POS

Not sure if troll post... But if it is, 7/10.

If it ain't, dayum son.

I did, that slipped my mind... in all honesty it wasn't even his fault he didn't get the belt, Filho's mistake costed him that. He should have gotten the belt there. Because yeah cool, if the champ misses weight, the challenger should still get it if he wins, just give the champ that missed weight a fine or something.
He never was the champ officially but he has that belt in his home

The number one reason is you probably a redneck fraudulent ped user.

"While being juiced"
Yeah you making it seem like Silva wasn juiced to the gills , Imagine bringing out that excuse for the biggest cheater/fraud in MMA history(alongside Jon Jones)
Chael is a journeyman though , yet he managed to dominate Silva for 4.5 rounds in the first fight and do the same in the second fight in the first round and until that spinning back fist despite Silva grabbing Chael's gloves , shorts and gresing himself up.
Just shows you how weak Silva competition was , yet he struggled with them and needed 4.5 rounds to submit a guy with no sub defense who has been submitted 7 times in the past , so much for a "bjj black belt"

Fitch purposely fought within himself to edge out a point victory. Chael went balls to the wall every fight, and even though he had a smothering style, he wasn't completely risk averse like Fitch.
Shogun respects the submission game of Chael Sonnen.

Weird thread considering Chael is undefeated and undisputed. Dude never even lost a round.

Silva passed his test (same test gsp had to pass during his ufc career) sonnen didn’t pass n was 4 times over the allowed limit of t/e n 16 times over the normal limit of t/e.

So even with his opponent being 16 times over the normal limit of t/e n Silva being injured, he still find a way to win.

In a rematch when Silva was healthy n sonnen t/e was more under control he finished him easily by tko n become 1st guy to tko sonnen in 40 fights (the other 2 tko prior to that were due to a cut n an injury).

Now compare that to some like gsp who couldn’t finish a fight in like 5 years n it was vs opponents who weren’t that hard to finish

N it’s easy to see why Anderson > gsp on goat list

GSP was passing VADA strict tests since the Condit fight , So yeah here goes "The same tests that GSP passed" myth. GSP was passing stricter drug tests way before Silva started being in that pool , Not to mention SIlva popping 2x for multiple PEDs.
Silva was fighting much easier competition than GSP and he was still struggling with them and also getting dominated by them (Ex. Chael) , His competition was a joke.
How can a guy who has popped 2x for steroids (which disqualifies him forever from the goat talks) , has double digit losses , has fought lesser competition , has many unavenged losses even to cans in japan(fights in which he was outskilled as in the Chonan one a fight in which he was way bigger) , is one-dimensional be considered higher than the greatest fighter of all time (GSP)?.
Not surprised though since this is coming from an dumb deluded GSP hater like you.

Funny how gsp was “passing” his own tests, yet didn’t wanna do nsac Random drug test...

Also gsp mostly fought natural lw n one dimensional strikers or wrestlers. That’s why majority of his opponents had sub .500 record post gsp. They were simply overrated.

The 1st time he faced someone who wasn’t one dimensional, he got his ass kicked so bad, that he ran away from the sport in his prime
