Why I Left Fox News

You're entitled to and I'll even go as far to respect your opinion, but the fact that you and many others can't see the parallels here is quite alarming.

You're wrong. It's really that simple.

Fox is almost a conspiracy theory level "news agency" at this point in Time. They've been caught lying more than Trump

I think that their factual accuracy (on the news--their opinion shows are a very different story) is pretty good. It's that their news judgment is (intentionally) horrible. It's not even like CNN, where you can see that it is driven by shameless ratings grabs. It's driven by partisanship, which I guess has an impact on their ratings that is less direct, as they target viewers who don't trust the real media and could lose those people if they made more of an attempt to do a good job.

I switched my Sirius subscription to talk and sports and Fox News isn't even included. Can't say I miss it.

So I just switch between CNN, MSNBC, Bloomberg, Insight, and POTUS. I do rather enjoy CNN and MSBNC though. Listening to all the nonstop criticism of Trump is strangley entertaining, especially since I voted for him.

I've held a grudge against CNN since the 90's.
Tv news sucks ass

It was boring at a time in my life when I would have preferred it to be more entertaining, and now it's more fun at a time when I'd prefer news to be more serious.

Anyway, only cans get their news from TV or the radio. Men read.

I was talking about the likes of Hannity. The reason I singled him out is because he gets the highest viewership and seems to be what the viewers like best

That's goddamn right

Does anyone else find it odd that most fox viewers put more stock in Hannity than BBC or Reuters or AP?

That’s what Fox News did to their brains.

Holy shit isn't that the truest damn thing.

But NPR is a'ight.

No, this is objectively wrong.
That's the problem. Absolutely NOTHING will change your opinion. You could have anyone on actual video and you'd still say....But

Both FOX and CNN are horrible. I also posted a video showing how CNN takes money from Dictators in their international markets to air propaganda.

So let's get this straight. CNN is proven to have agendas and bias internationally but not domestically?

RUSSIA RUSSIA RUSSIA has your mind not thinking freely. You are now in bed with a fucking hack like Peters who was calling Obama a pussy and calling FOX hosts agents of Putin just because they don't want war with Russia.

Go take a look at what this Peters guy thinks we should do with NK

That doesn't make him wrong. It also doesn't make your continued asinine ranting about the left and the Neocons, anymore grounded in facts.

I saw you say in another thread that America's entry into WWII was more defensible than its entry into Vietnam - NEOCON

Do I believe FOX leans right/Republican? Yes. Do they lean as far right as the rest of MSM leans left/Democrat (with CNN being the worst offender)? Not even close.

So, you're just objectively delusional. I mean, that and trolling are the only two rational explanations for this appraisal.

Openly posting InfoWars videos. So that's the depth to which you have fallen nowadays. Kewl.

The post office loses money and is subsidized by tax-payers. I don't care what aspect of it is the cause of the loss.

I mean, your first post re Trump "talking about reality" was silly. But this was a whole new level of shit posting. How you would expect a public entity to make a profit, and thereafter judge its efficacy by its taking in said profit, is mind boggling. A public department making a profit is the definition of economic waste: it means the funding and pricing were not optimally calibrated.

By just about any metric, the USPS is one of the great bastions of state efficiency in the world. Frankly, I would argue it's far and away the pride of the American people's ability to self-govern.

You just attacked a position I didn't take. You think in left-right only. Sorry about that, it's a real limitation.

Reality is CNN will always be bias one way, and Fox bias the other. It comes down to who has to degrade themselves less.

I got off the Trump bandwagon because I knew trying to defend him would just get more and more difficult, to the point that I would be embarrassing myself.

That's what having a modus operandi of defending Trump does. It makes you look like a fucking idiot. Tough job Fox has - so of course Fox is going to throw any sense of decency out the window. Just like Spicer, Suckabee Sanders, and a chunk of forum posters here; it's a tough job, but some douchebags have to do it.

And yet my posts made absolutely no mention of left/right, leftist/rightist, liberal/conservative, Republican/Democrat or anything related to making a bifurcated argument.

I addressed only your facially stupid and economically silly criticism of the USPS.

You assumed what I was saying because of political thinking. I only stated a fact that the USPS isn't allowed to fall, and is subsidized. Did I take a stance on that? I was addressing another issue to the person I was talking to.

We've suffered far too much editorializing in the news the past several years, but this is one of the more important Op-Eds written during this period. It's more testimonial than opinion.

Why I left Fox News

Ralph Peters is a retired Army officer, a former enlisted man and a prize-winning author of historical fiction.

If you spring to defend FOX based on partisan flag-waving you are a fool. This is a bad investment for conservatives. Building a homegrown RussiaToday because one believes it a necessity to combat the tilt from the journalistic left is participating in the same absurdist propagandizing that cost liberals the easiest lay-up to the White House in the history of elections.

The younger generation is already showing a heavily liberal proclivity. Fox is deploying a strategy that risks squandering them forever. The center is going to shift drastically to the left if the most important mainstream conservative news source doesn't pull its head out of the sand. The midterms are going to be painful no matter what, but this is the sort of social engineering that will implode 2020, and every election beyond.

You have to admit, CNN is just as bad if not worse. They took money from the Clintons, pharma, etc. A totally clear agenda. Don't tell me you still have CNN.
