Why Dustin dusts Conor

Cerrone got $200K. Is that your idea of a “big payday” in a main event UFC PPV fight?

What, are you his accountant?

You, literally, have no idea how much he got paid for that "fight". GTFO of here trying to passive-aggressively air quote people's words.

This a strong possibility, and one that makes sense. I notice that Conor gets a lot of confidence from all of the pageantry and fanfare. With that taken away, we could see a different fighter. Even though I hope Dustin wins in dominant fashion, I still think the style favors McGregor too much, though.

vietnam dustin already lost, tweeting stuff like "i`m underdog no pressure" shows
weakness,my bet his body will collapse the second the double barrel shotgun hits him(called it in cowboy fight as well)
Comparing current Cowboy to Poirer lmao

The man himself said so. Are you calling Cerrone a liar? If you can’t quote the direct source, I have no idea who you could ever quote. Educate yourself, as I’m sure a quick google search would point you to his exact quote. Where he said he did not receive ppv points, and only his base salary. But don’t expect me to do the leg work for you. There were even threads in here about it.

I think this fight happening at 155 is the biggest difference. Dustin will handle getting hit much better.

That definitely is a factor. Conor generally excels under the big lights whilst others crumble but this will feel like a glorified spar so yea a big bonus for Dustin.

Another factor in Dustin's favor is he has fought out there already so is more familiar with this setting and is also more more accustomed to the environment/humidity etc.

He lost in the biggest MMA PPV event ever...so theres that

Poirier can never seem to dominate top competition, so this fight totally depends on how serious Conor takes it. If he comes in motivated and in good shape there is nothing Dustin can do.

As Al Iaquinta said, Dustin's already pretty much lost the fight
Al is just salty he is never getting that fight. Him, Serra and Longo have been taking petty little digs at Conor for years like a bunch of gossiping teenage girls.

Ya know

Rewatched the first scrap a couple time this week and Dustin wasn’t doing bad to get things going, and the shots that stumbled Porier and the two that followed that led to the finish were ALL back of the head. Ref or nobody gave a F and everybody was in awe instead.

I think Dustin can take a lot off the first fight as he was doing decent until that happened, and Dustin has improved a ton since.

Coin toss with Conor a slight fav as he has finished him before so confidence is there is higher

I don't think it's a deciding factor, but could play a part for sure.. Conor has stated previously he's waiting for crowds to return(iirc) could suggest some inclining of insecurity fighting without one.

I would LOVE for Justin to beat Conor. But I just don't see it happening...

Why not take the big payday AND the win ...?
Well, are you yourself a broke bum or a contender - specially facing an absolute animal like Mr McGregor - easier said than done, maybe?

This is a point that might actually have merit which is rare for Sherdog, Dustin is a very good fighter but makes questionable choices mid fight, it's impossible to know who is and isn't effected by the roars of a crowd though, it might make no difference.
