Why don't UFC commentators score rounds?

It shouldn't be Goldie and Rogan giving scores, because they're too busy looking at notes, having a producer speak in their air, and talking on the fly to be trusted that they're scoring a round fairly. But yes it'd be cool if they got a personality like a former fighter to give his score after a round.

Rogan and Goldie "score" the rounds unofficially in their heads all the time. I can't count the number of times they said that so-and-so won that round or say, "He has got to come out with everything in this third because he lost the first two rounds."

They may not post their actual scores but they make it pretty clear who they think a round went to.

A smart guy like Eddie Bravo scoring the rounds would be interesting

Eddie Bravo was a lousy judge. He always favored grapplers and hardly gives any credit for striking. He is a lousy person to have scoring rounds.

Rogan and Goldberg both had different people winning between Forrest and Rampage. Their scoring on rounds wouldn't help anything.
