Why is garbage?

The video is teaching some good principles.
Rorian has also said that "a women, with any amount of training is going to have a hard time against a man".
So he is not deluding them.
They have put out more laughable bullshido.

The irony is many in this forum still believe the ultimate Gracie Bullshido- that it is 'the best style for self defence'.
What if you face 2 people? LoL.

Even decent boxing or Kyokushin Karate was always better than BJJ for most self defence situations. Learn to hit hard, take a hit, and situational awareness is what its about.

The techniques are valid, but the notion that you can learn them in a few short sessions is nonsense.

Also, for most women, unless you're at a blue belt level, it's probably game over if you're on the ground.

It doesn't take long to learn to fight better than most untrained people as long as you are athletic. After you learn to fight, it helps to do little fighting exercises, especially low impact ones, to maintain your ability. Kata are good. I bet if you are a professional MMA fighter, you could maintain 90% of your fighting ability doing bullshido exercises because they would maintain your good movement, especially if you are sparring.

Their bullshido is forgivable because they were actually making people good at fighting. If they were the only game in town and they required me to spend two hours a week learning their language, and another hour doing Japanese calligraphy, I'd probably go along with it, and whatever explanation made it sound like calligraphy was good for fighting, if it meant I could stay in the only group turning out fighters.

Not what happened. And dude fucked me PERMANANTLY, so moving on isn't an option. A decade when you're young is serious as it determines your life course and you don't have anything to fall back on. Go back to doing... what? My whole professional resume is martial arts and shit I can't use.

Anyways, I don't like Rener and Ryron because they aren't doing good work. They really aren't doing any work. How many security/LEO assignments have they completed? ZERO. Like, what was their biggest op? NONE. So on what basis are they creating these lessons? And I work in that field, so I know experience is important. I know blue belts that could do a lot better.

In the 2000s, I was interested in BJJ because a boxing coach I was training with was renting spacing at an mma gym and there was a Rickson Gracie black belt. The guy was a complete pure piece of shit. He also bragged about being in good graces with Rickson and that it is a privilege to be part of the Gracies.

It was so fucking off putting and I never got in to grappling until I found a judo sambo instructor and I am glad I avoided it. I am sorry to hear that but you are not alone. The Gracies are scum of the earth and my sambo judo sensei has stories about them being utter pieces of shits in various grappling tournaments.
