Why don't people like DC?

I can understand if he's not your favorite. But this guy has accomplished a lot and for the most part has really excelled, did exceptionally well at a higher weight class, mostly been a great sport and role model and mostly in pretty exciting fights.

I don't think it's hate. He is talented, just seems to have somewhat of a boring style to watch even if he wins. Severn was also like this in a way.

I don't know why, but I think it's about time DC stops apologising and explaining himself for those who boo him. He's a great fighter, a champion, he works hard and it's not his fault if Jon Jones just can't seem to stop fucking things up.

If people don't like him, it's about damn time he tells them to shove it up their asses and deal with it. I'm not even his biggest fan, but I hope he keeps winning just to piss off those who think he should "stand and bang bro!!!!!!!!!".

Casuals want every fighter to be Robbie Lawler. To simply take enough punches and dish them out as well, while bleeding from your face. They actually dislike mixed martial arts itself, what they want is a Bloodsport type of scenario. And nothing ever satisfies their endless appetite of sheer violence, thus the complete disregard for wrestlers and some BJJ artists.

Well smothering Silva didn't help. Although it was smart of him not to play Silva's game.

He's amazing, 5'9" and HW, the LHW, ridiculous and some of his slams and throws are fun to watch.

But in case you haven't figured it out, ppl on here often like fighters more on their personalities and interviews than their actual perfomanz.

He's very mature and comes up w horrible verbal comebacks.
It'd prolly be better if he didn't say anything@ all and did the stoic bit but he tries to talk sh** and often does poor.

2. Fought fan favorite and seemed like a bully for taking Anderson down, knowing that he has 20+ pounds on him.
3. He isn't very funny even though he tries hard to be.
4. He doesn't deliver many "Holy shit" moments.
5. He is very cocky but pretends not to be.

I don't understand why so much is made of fans booing. It happens in every other sport for the visiting teams. Anderson was definitely the home team because of how much fans have for him.

Actually i think there are few factors to that.
First of all his beef with Jones. For some reason people belived in the "new changed Jones". His inability to trash talk and the fact that he was telling people "Don't boo me, booo Jones" got on bad side of people. He couldnt deal with this properly and people turned on him. Also the fact that he didn't beat the best in his division isn't working for him. I understand its not his fault, but some will always call him "paperchampion" now.
And let's not forget that for most MMA fans you are only as good as your last fight, so his also "boring" now.
