I'd love to see his boxing style in MMA. I could picture a guy like Hector Lombard improving immensely.

Maybe Conor too? Conor could probably afford it.

being a good fighter at one point in your life doesn't mean you would make a good coach.

As long as they don't spar him. Mma is full of glass jaws. Imagine Tyson hitting them.

Cus D'amato is dead.

Also why dont track stars hire horses to train them?

Cause after 5 minutes, I'd wanna shoot myself after the 100th time he would say 'Come on! Hit thothe padth!!!'

Tyson is not the sharpest tool in the shed.

Well first of all, Mike Tyson doesn't play well with others. He needs meds and probably needs somebody around him at all times. Being a good boxer is just one of the many things you need in being a good trainer. There are plenty of other people to choose from.

Those that can do those who can't teach? I didn't realize Tyson was a coach.

It's a long time since I saw a Tyson fight and he's my favourite boxer ever, but I seem to remember him ducking very low a lot of the time. If I sparred like that I'd expect a kick/knee to the face.

Better off getting Kevin Rooney to teach Mike's style.

Because he is probably not a great coach and is pretty mentally unstable

He would probably be one of the worst options ever as a coach. especially for MMA, and yeah I get it the boxing, but the boxing is different, not his style. He would have to be very reliable and dependable to be a coach, can't see him doing that.

lol he is not a trainer, he had insane athleticism, explosiveness, and speed for 5'11. His height actually helped him use those against taller guys, so if he could train guys people like lawler, mahoef, romero etc could have benefited bc they have the same build

Ummm, because he's a fucken lunatic?

Tyson was not the most technical boxer out there. He used his raw power to beat a lot of his opponents. Plus once people had seen what he could do, it genuinely put fear into them. He had a lot of guys beat before they even stepped into the ring. I would honestly go with someone else, for boxing anyway. Now if you wanna be batshit crazy, then Tyson is your guy.
