Why does the UFC hate MVP??

I doubt the problem is the UFC. It probably has more to do with fighters keep turning down fights against him.
Can't force people to fight but you can coerce and the UFC can't book itself for a dinner reservation the last few years they are failing to book most anything worthwhile

0 finishes, 0 fotn/potn bonuses

Hates probably too strong a word but they’re obviously not impressed by his performances

Who is this deciding body that determines what a stinker is? I enjoy MVP fights a lot & he was hugely popular in Bellator. He hasn't lit the UFC on fire but suddenly an MVP fight is a guaranteed stinker? bollocks
He’s had some highlight reel moments but plenty of his fights have been pretty uneventful as well. It’s not really even his fault, he’s just got a tough style that leaves guys hesitant to engage which is exactly what he needs to do his best work. Also I don’t think his reputation of being a knockout artist is entirely accurate so I think the point fighting style can leave fans a bit disappointed.

They pay the guy to fight

and he throws like 3 punches a round lol

no finishes.

Imagine if Anderson always fought like the Maia fight, every time. He'd have 2% of the fans.

Ironically his fights have gotten better too. Him vs holland trash, him vs garry mildly ok, him vs shara slightly interesting, him vs jared a banger.

it is a bit odd, i agree. he's flashy and fun to watch and he had something of a name coming in. not sure what they're doing there, besides dropping the ball.

It's crazy. They also banned dancing during the walkouts after he made his debut and was too flashy for them.

They REALLY don't want their fighters to be stars.
Wait what? U cannot "dance" during walkout? U lying right...? Will they put straitjacket and legcuffs on Johnny Walker?

Whats next...Fighters will have to show their respect to "emperor" Donald before they step into cage?

That's what Dana declared after his debut and I don't think I've seen anymore dancing on the walkouts.

Because he's a low volume, style point fighter.

Yeah, he has a unique style that gives everyone fits.

The problem is, MVP is never gonna earn a title shot. Too old and too many rungs to climb, but, he is more than capable of creating a boring fight and winning a UD against a younger fighter.

I agree with most of that, but I actually think WW is better with more fun fights. Buckley as you mentioned, JDM, Prates--all talented or dangerous strikers who will stand with him.

There's not much at MW besides Izzy and I don't think they want to fight each other.

This is the problem with MVPs style, especially in a 3 round fight. It's just awkward/unique enough to stifle his opponents' output. JDM, Prates, Buckley, and even Cannonier are better fighters but ufc can't risk those first 3 or someone in the top 10 losing a boring clunker of a fight to MVP.

I heard he wants to fight WW but ufc want him to fight at MW , compromise seems to be hunting for a bonus against no names at welter.
