Agree sherdog was better in the 2000s, although it was the wild wild west and we would have flamewars instead of this heavily controlled pc environment with some rogue and egotistical mods petily thread-intervening any chance they get (some even having vendettas against good posters)

Mods used to be way more strict. The ban hammer flew freely in the early-mid 00's. You'd be banned for steroid accusations or fighter bashing, something that happens in just about every thread now.

My original account got banned for making a joke about Mask, you know, the fucking Tapout guy, after he died.

I guess we just remember shit differently.

It's been over a year now but the one of the updates makes it a pain in the ass to log in. I had to repeatedly hit the back browser or refresh, only to have it say there is a "security error" and would not log me in. It took 7 tries just to log into a internet forum.

Ive never been a shitposter, just someone who argues passionately against ufc mal practice, I went through 3 accounts from like 2003-2010

Then got banned over something so mild and was just over it so i lurked until 2018 when i rejoined cause i just had to be able to comment on mma stuff again lol amd honestly there are no better forums for mma imo
