I understand that, but why (as you just highlighted) do they always seem to use the WORST most ANNOYING and/or intrusive (mobile, at least) ads possible? It's worse than pirate streaming and overseas porn sites

I don't use phone for browsing, but there are probably adblockers for mobile too.. i guess. And anti-robot thing doesn't bother me much. I mean it's only for a few seconds, so no big deal for me.

I have personally tried to introduce 2 other new MMA fans to the site and they quit after a week of dealing with popups and random redirects to unsafe sites and sketchy ads. Obviously I'm a platinum member on Sherdog so I don't wanna sound too confident as to how difficult it is to use Sherdog in specific.

I'm pretty sure nextdns is free. Then again you could start wondering, WHY is it free, what's the catch?

There's always a catch though, the struggle of starting to go down the thinking rabbit hole is real.
