Theory Why does Kickboxing attracts so many scumbags to it?

Which country / area have you experienced this in?

One of the main reason in my opinion is because Kickboxing is a nice sport (compared to other combat sports), it also usually doesn't have the discipline and respect that Asian martial arts have (I include Muay Thai in this), because also the sparring tends to be rather hard (perfect for knuckleheads), while the talent pool is much smaller than say boxing or MMA so there are a lot less real athletes and seriously skilled opponents and coaches to put those people in place or kick them out.

Crazy that this sport has champions who train in Muay Thai or MT/MMA gyms while there are dedicated gyms, even outside the Netherlands

If we in reality see what kind of guys had competed in BJJ tournaments .....you most likely don't know their level of hierarchy and who for them is what kind of even coloured belt guy. They loved to sandbag a lot...
What kind of stuff really is " worth of belt ranking "?

You might get beast in blue belt division.
Like till high level athletes . ..this means that person had been ranked in top 10-50 in world in some art. This reality.

Blue belt division BJJ dream with judoka competed in Games and World Championships ....Google up next opponent...

BJJ does have tribal attitude and Judo etc arts a bit too.
