Depends on what you mean "fireworks", cuz i think he would get knocked out clean without any back and forth. Hes a sloppy striker that is at his best when he brawls and eats multiple shots, with his best days behind him, i dont think he could eat clean shots to make this fight interesting at all, not to mention he is very slow, even Max who himself is not the fastest striker, looked way faster than Justin, and being slow and sloppy is not a good combo vs a guy who has both speed and knockout power, as we have seen vs Charles, who is just as slow and sloppy.

As for the OP/Title of the thread, yeah i dunno why he feels that entitled, i guess cuz he thinks he did the company a favor by taking the Holloway fight so somehow his loss is supposed to be ignored, hes 3-2 in his last 5 and his latest win is not as impressive vs Fiziev who has lost 3 out of his last 4 fights...2 of those to Jusitn himself, so i dunno, i feel like if Justin was at least on a 2-3 fight win streak thats one thing, but winning 1 fight after a brutal KO loss is pretty "i feel i am owed" type behavior.

Some of these guys just seem to have that mindset now. I dont know if its the Conor effect or what but it definitely became more common after him. I guess Justin thinks hes valuable to the promotion and a bigger star than he actually is. The reality is Ilia/Paddy would very likely outdraw Ilia/Justin at this point.

Gaethje has had 1 foot out the door for a while. Years ago he said he only wanted to fight once a year. So he only wants the biggest fights and he's using his perceived popularity as leverage to get another title shot.

I don't think he deserves it. He has already had 2. I could see a title eliminator with either Paddy or Arman.

Earned it when? He had a title fight in 2022 against Charles and had the surgery the same year. He got 2 wins after the surgery then got murdered by Max.
