Why does everyone hate Gred hardy?

My biggest issue with Hardy is he's gotten a wholly undeserved push by the UFC when there are plenty of better, more promising fighters on the roster hardly getting any marketing push at all.

I'm also a big Panthers fan so I followed the whole domestic situation pretty closely at the time and it was complicated to say the least. Far from the cut and dry case of abuse that many seem to recollect it as being.

Ok so he was an nfl player

Did he serve jail time for beating his girl, or was it just some #metoo accusations with no proof?

And his personality may be crap to you, but some people are just the way they are. No one is loved by all.

1. I don't think I said anything about his personality.
2. People just being the way they are isn't an excuse for anyone, and isn't particularly true. People largely choose what kind of person they want to be. That's true of me, you, and Greg Hardy.
3. As far as woman beating, he was initially found guilty by a judge and sentenced to 60 days, but Hardy appealed to a jury trial, and the witness failed to show up for court. It was a case of not guilty by technicality, but the evidence against him was convincing. The NFL conducted its own investigation and found the evidence that the allegations were true to be strong enough to warrant a hefty suspension.
4. Hardy was a talented player in the NFL, especially in 2012-13 or so. By 2015 his level of play diminished noticeably and Hardy became a source of constant friction and controversy for the team. When a player of his talent level isn't considered worth signing by the talent hungry NFL, it's a huge red flag for personal issues.

Because he's an even bigger cunt than he looks.

He is everything they want to be. A true "alpha." He is tall, muscular, explosive and he beats other humans and gets away with it. People don't like that. LOL

The guy is actually very well spoken and somewhat articulate (for an athlete), you can tell he’s all in on MMA now for his career, seems to be taking it very seriously. I’m guessing as a young man with huge expectations on his shoulders, plus being thrust into that environment of being a star NFL athlete could’ve been too much too fast... add in new found wealth, I mean look at Jon Jones. It’s impossible to tell what his issues were, but it seems as he has grown as a human, maybe Team sports and being surrounded by other athletes wasn’t the environment for him to thrive in. Personally, I’m a do not play well with others kinda guy, I had to make a big career move around the same age Hardy did to find that fit. Let’s just say working in an environment where I felt surrounded by underachieving blowhards who thought their shit didn’t stink wasn’t for me...
<{cruzshake}>
Anyhow I gave him a clean slate, new sport, until he does something intolerable I’m watching and rooting for his story to be successful. That’s just me though.

Yeah, guess everyone in the crowd was a sherdogger. Try harder next time.

Bigger question is; if he's so hated, why is the UFC trying so hard to promote and protect him? I get he's somebody to root against, but they keep putting him in with scrubs.

Given your McGregor avatar, maybe violence against women is your thing?

The thing is, u wouldnt dare say anything to him. He might actually hurt you.

You’re trolling, because I refuse to believe that you’re smart enough to make a Sherdog topic but can’t be bothered to Google him.

He’s a woman beating piece of shit, fuck him and fuck you for defending him. Your mother must be a real trainwreck meth head cunt for you to have ended up such an abuse-defending fuckhead.

Do the gene pool a favor and jump off an overpass.

And the average middle school girl could do the world a favor and beat you until you stopped twitching.

Oh, a heavyweight pro fighter might beat up an average internet poster? No shit?

Fuck you.

People love mike Tyson but forget he was a convicted rapist. Hypocrisy at its finest

He's a bum fighting other bums, yet they keep sticking him on the main card instead of giving us something decent.

People will say it’s because of his alleged domestic violence issues but I think it’s because he’s big, athletic, hits hard, and whether people want to admit it or not - it doesn’t take much more than that to be a champion at heavyweight in the UFC. The truth is that they’re scared that he’ll keep winning and make the sport look second rate. And unlike Brock Lesnar, there is no “wrestling background” to justify (or excuse) his success.

Not hating, but he seems to get easy fights one after another, even if he usually finishes those guys quickly, its a fight stat highlight of him...not really getting thougher competition.

looks like an idiot
acts like an idiot
is an idiot
also looks like a cow
fights cans on main cards
is a can himself
