Why does everyone hate Gred hardy?

Women are a lot weaker than men. And, if Hardy's career has proven anything, it's that regular, unathletic guys can defend themselves against him.

It doesn't matter if they're weaker in general, in most assault cases its a bigger guy attacking a smaller man. Thats still unfair, 5ft5 women, or 5ft10 man, they both have 0% chance of defending themselves, and they're being physically attacked against their wishes. Why is it so outrageous to attack a women with no chance against you, but not a regular 5ft10 man who isn't buff or anything and also has no chance.

Hardy's career has proven that 240lb+ professional fighters can defend themselves, not regular sized and untrained dudes..

Alot on the forum are afraid of the idea if higher calibre athletes 'invading' the sport.

His participation in the nfl represents that

I don't like Hardy, but I can't put my finger on exactly why. I also don't like Usman, Woodley, Rumble, Jones, Cormier, or Blaydes. I don't know why. There's just something about them.

Fair-ish point. Though I would still give a smaller guy a better chance of landing a lucky KO than the average women. I'd also expect him to be more resilient in the face of an unarmed beating.

In this specific case though, it's also a domestic violence charge (iirc?). That changes the dynamic somewhat, as a man (especially a large, athletic man) would be expected to assume the role of 'protector' i such a relationship. Betraying that role is a violation of the norms of most societies, civilised or otherwise.

You could make the case that her instigation in the matter should blunt out overt judgement of his actions, since attempting to coax your protector into attacking you is also a dick move.

I mean, technically, yes. But only because HW MMA is really forcing us to scrape the bottom of the barrel when defining the term "professional". The Combat Wombat was only not regular-sized, because he is more obese than the average male - and I've not seen much evidence that any of these guys were particularly well-trained.

Yeah your right, this is probably what it is. I don't like it cus they can vote now and all that, double standards bug me but they're always gonna exist I guess..
