Why does Dana let Connor son him?

It's just a father letting his child act up.
 
No need to speculate. Dana has said been asked several times why he puts up with some of the things Conor does and his answer is “because he’s worth it.” Which he is. Add the fact the Dana likes and admires Conor and there is no mystery here.

I'm with on you on most of your posts. But I do think at this point Mcgregors name has enough weight that he makes good money without the UFC at this point in whatever venture he would pursue in that scenario. What that figure is, and whether it's near as good what he makes while partnered with them is definitely highly up for debate. But yeah, the re-signing making himself brand exclusive for the forseeable future seems to tell me he thinks he still makes more and gets more opportunity while staying partnered with them.

In his relationship with every big-name fighter, Dana is the woman. Exception being Ronda and that's probably why he loves her so much.

He can make money away from UFC but not tens of millions.
They work together.
Conor will use his power to ask for more than he deserves & won't get it ... that is business 101.

Bottom line is that when it comes to MMA, UFC is an ATM without Conor & Conor makes zero without UFC.
His 6 fight contract cements that!
 
For those old enough to have followed the sport a long time, trust me when I say as soon as Conor’s stock goes down Dana will reverse and jump on next hype wagon
