And where did this hatred come from? Not from the fighters, GSP was maybe the most widely respected fighter in the UFC.. Not from the media, they mostly wrote Pro GSP articles.. Let me guess Sherdog.. Very scientific..

Other buy rates were probably the result of Canadian nationalism and your run of the mill men and women who simply thought he looked great in tights.

I had even casual fan friends who drank the kool aid on George and then regurgitated it after the embarrassment of starting UFC parties around his anticlimactic main events.

I kept warning them about the wolf tickets and trailer hype letdowns but they didn’t listen. “Don’t blink.”

And yes the Toronto fans did boo him towards the end of the GSP/Shields fight whether you like it or not.
 
GSP is just a class act. He did everything right as the WW champ, and some reason Dana hated him. I really wish he'd shave his head again though.

GSP's fights are beautiful.
All them guys fighting him know he gonna take em down,and they cant stop it.
 
I don't think any of us hate gsp, we dislike his disillusioned fans. I met gsp in 2011 at the Fedor bigfoot fight and he was really super nice. I just find his fans to be insufferable and they cannot grasp reality that Georges isn't the goat and had major stumbles in his career.

OK just waiting on that video. I’ve watch that fight several times and never heard anybody booing. But a lot of people in the stadium some might’ve been but I didn’t hear it. So somebody can post a video.
