Why do we as fans love the Diaz brothers?

haters do not apply to this thread. Is it the shit talkin pot smokin scrappy attitude? because the reality is. nick is a good guy. gives to charity. teaches local youth free bjj etc. They just seem like cool dudes who dont come to score points but to honestly fight and put it all on the line. Diaz bro this buds for u.

 

Talented fighters, natural finishers, great work ethics,great sense of camraderie, excellent and often hilarious ramblings, good sells, whats not to love?

Always goes in to fight. never hold back. great work ethic. always have exciting fights. they always have great sportsmanship AFTER the fights.

Like after the Benson fight, even though Nate was getting manhandled and utterly destroyed, he still tried to find a way to win and kept fishing for that leg and never gave up.

I've met both and they are both very cool guys. Will always be a fan of both of them.

 

Embody everything a fighter should be in a cage, ferocious, talented, hard working, relentless, always looking to win and inflict damage and end fights. They have a warrior spirit and look at it as a fight, not a competition.

 

They don't come off like they're full of shit. Not that I'm a huge fan but that's why I like them atleast. They're simple, they like weed, triathlons, and fighting....... or whatever.

Also, I watch fighting for displays of heart.

The two fighters on the top of this mountain are Fedor and Nick Diaz.. by far.

 

They make me want to eat more string beans.

 

They put on exciting fights. Nice boxing and JJ, very fun to watch. They talk trash mid-fight, something most fighters aren't able to do.

 

Because they come to fight not earn points. Unfortunately they are losing to folks trying to earn points. If you are running around the perimeter of the octagon the entire fight that is not octagon control, that's called a 5k.

 

So Bendo throwing Diaz around, kicking the living shit out of his leg then punching the living shit out of his leg was not octagon control? Did I forgot to mention Diaz stopping Bendo's fist with his face numerous time?

 

Think he was referring to Condit/Nick.

 

Fearless inside the octagon. Especially Nick, not many have the balls to go out there and stand with some of the strikers he has.
