GSP is an all time great, but you can't tap to strikes against a midget and ever be considered as GOAT.

Imagine, as a MAN, you tap to strikes instead of fighting back? The fight only ended because he got scared of being hit. He could've possibly gotten up or reversed position at some point! You keep fighting and see if you can come back.

That is the single most embarrassing thing any top 10 fighter has ever done.

I have no problem with having GSP in a Top 5 list, you can place him anywhere from 2-5 how you see fit, it's just silly to have him over Jon Jones who never lost and continued to compete well passed his prime against killers when GSP retired after losing vs Hendricks

and got cracked by a punch he didn't see coming.

Probably panic'd trying to recover/fend off the punched that followed. In his head going oh shit I'm about to get schooled by a guy I was supposed to easily beat.

At the end it made him change his game up. (More cautious, started perfecting a mix of takedowns and strikes. Those knees to serras guts in the 2nd fight made my ribs hurt watching it live.

People will legitimately say Jon is disqualified due to the PED issues as thought he hasn't since gone 6-0 in title fights across 2 weight classes.

Whch is itself an entirely separate HOF career in its own right if you truly wanted to fault him.

Jones has an:

- overall GOAT career
- pre PED GOAT career
- post PED GOAT career

So of course fans of other GOATs have to suddenly start making up new critieria instead of simply the fights themselves.

The point is more that there are fighters this never happened to and never needed this lesson because they kept up their dlligence/found ways to win regardless without such a horrific loss.
