Why didnt DC use his wrestling more against jones?

Jones number one attribute is elusiveness. He gets the hell outta there every imaginable time you can hsve an advantage and Dhalsim’s you and if you get tired of his range he hurts you inside then resets to range until you get frustrated and tired then he will wrestle. His whole style in a nutshell

Too old, too fat plus Jon was stronger than him and a better fighter overall, and good enough wrestler to stop anything DC could do.

i remember he grabbed both of DCs wrists in one fight and hit him with one of the most beautiful knees I’ve ever seen.
 
I have wondered the same thing. I think DC just has a huge ego and wanted to beat Jones on the feet and KO him. I think if they had fought a third time, DC would've stuck to the gameplan devised by Javier and AKA and just take Jones down every round and hold him there, coasting to an easy 50-45 victory, or perhaps get a slam KO like Rampage vs Arona.

It's definitely THAT he couldn't. Jones stuffed 7 TD attempts there and took him down 3 times. What your pretending is taking down at will was DC imposing his brute strength to finally get a late fight td after Jones proved he's the better wrestler.
 
Jones wrestling is better so he couldn't actually DC using clinch and dirty boxing in the second fight was going good for him before he got clattered and subsequently mauled

What that fuck? He tried to out wrestle Jon in the first fight. He couldn't. Jon proved he was the superior MMA wrestler. I don't remember DC taking Jon down. I do remember Jon taking down DC though. I could be wrong but I just don't remember it.
 
DC felt that crazy strength

Toss in a little bit of wrestling background, mix in those NFL size genes, then add dick-pills and cocaine and DC was stifled
