Just rewatched it and I really have no idea what you're talking about. Tyron won the absolute majority of the striking in that fight. He definitely has the better striking, Shields simply made the fight ugly and pressed the action.

It's a blatant duck and the only thing worse for your brand than getting finished brutally is avoiding the fight in this manner. A fighter should be willing to fight anyone. It's the managers job to say no to a fight if it doesn't make sense. Him saying no on his own made him look weak and harder to promote in the future.

they have some kind of relationship. Before woodleys last match, something happened and Lombard said woodley was calling him trying to apologize. but Lombard didnt want to hear it. Then a month later the match was proposed and lombard starts talking tons of shit about woodley. And woodley said nothing back.

Maybe they didnt train but they were definitely associates if not friends.
