Why did Woodley duck Lombard?

Another reason Lombard doesn't get to fight often i think is the ufc not really eager to make match ups for him.

Remember how much he's paid?
He struck a phenomenal deal. It was the craziest deal I've heard of when he was coming over from bellator.

Maybe they just don't want to pay him that much. Not sure if this is the case but it seems weird.
Dana keeps saying no one wants to fight him.
Lombard keeps calling or everyone on Twitter trying to get some damn fight.

Maybe behind the scenes the ufc isn't really pushing hard like they would for some other Matchups.


They got him locked out any way.
They don't want a 36 year old champ.

They especially don't want a 36 year old derailing the young Canadian prospect they're trying to push.

well since the 1st 2 are fighting for the title and the 3rd is waiting on the winner I seriously don't see that happening.
who else would you want Lombard to fight in the interim?
I'd say Matt B or Tyrone are the logical answers, and Tyrone is ducking Hector.

Btw, i find ludicrous when people imply that Woodley is scared of Lombard. Seriously? A pro fighter who has fought Rory, Condit, Daley and many others is afraid of fighting Hector? Come on.

You're in the "zero chance" crowd - along with many others who seem to assume that a fighter goes into a bout with some kind of disability and invalid body who is there to get mauled like a rabbit to a wolf.

You need to get some solid training under your belt and then re-evaluate your posts.

He is the most overrated fighter in the welterweight division by far. I'd go as far as to say Erick Silva potentially beats him. Lol he got out struck by shields and straight embarrassed by Rory.
