not surprised he moved up, but six spots is a bit much. would've made more sense for Wonderboy to move down for turning in a shit performance.
Shouldve moved up the catch weight rankings
Tyron Woodley hasn't fought in eons and is considered retired, so everyone moves up the list.
If you miss weight, you shouldn't be rewarded for it. He gets the win on his record, but he should stay the same in this rankings and have to fight a couple more times to even be considered for a title fight...almost as if the fight never happened...
The people voting are assuming he would've performed the same if he had made weight.
It would make no sense to leave his ranking the same, given he beat the number one guy in the division.
Rankings don't matter
To be fair its his first time ever missing weight. According to reports his girlfriend was hospitalized during his weight cut and he had to go see her in the hospital. I do cut him slack on missing weight but I also agree he should stray exactly where he was in the rankings. He should fight anyone on the top 10 next or rematch Wonderboy.
Tell that to Paul Felder
He knows
Well then he's pretty stupid lol
If they mattered, Iaquinta wouldn't have got the shot either
Well that's not true. He missed weight by 6 pounds in his fight with Jessin Ayari last year.To be fair its his first time ever missing weight.
Paul didn't get the title shot because he was too low in the rankings.
Rankings matter
The NYSAC are new. They don't know the deal.
