Why did Mark Hunt file lawsuits against UFC for Brock’s Roids but Bisping couldn’t over TRTitor?

From what I understand (please double check me) Mark Hunt had no proof only suspicions.

And when you go to court you need actually evidence to back up your claims. You can't just say people are guilty because you don't like them

Because Mark Hunt had no actual evidence the case was dismissed and Mark Hunt was ordered to pay the UFC's legal fees
Let's see if "permalinking" works. This is what I managed to find out.
Why did Mark Hunt file lawsuits against UFC for Brock’s Roids but Bisping couldn’t over TRTitor?

He's still got some (legal) fight left in him.

From last October:
"The lawsuit alleged a conspiracy to commit a crime related to racketeering, fraud, battery, breach of contract, breach of covenant of good faith and fair dealing, and negligence. The allegations were initially dismissed in February 2019, but the US Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit reversed the district court’s dismissal of fraud and battery. Hunt is bound for the US after his bout with Williams to continue an even bigger fight."

More detail from September 2021:

"In 2019, the United States District Court for the District of Nevada dismissed the majority of Hunt's claims. All claims against White and Lesnar were dismissed. The only claim that remained was the alleged breach of the implied covenant of good faith and fair dealing. However, that claim was later thrown out after the UFC secured a summary judgment. Now, on September 24, 2021, the United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit brought the case back to life.

The Ninth Circuit reversed the district court's dismissal of two of his claims: fraud and battery. The 2019 dismissal of Hunt's claims of unjust enrichment, racketeering, breach of contract, and breach of the implied covenant of good faith and fair dealing was affirmed. Still, this serves as a massive breakthrough for Hunt, as the district court will have to re-hear his claims for fraud and battery with new instruction from a higher court.

As for the fraud claim, the Ninth Circuit held that Dana White's statement promising that Lesnar "will be the most tested athlete on this card" could form a basis for fraud as it was a false representation of material fact.

Def interesting, though Brock was tested mutiple times I imagine the UFC just has to show they followed due process in testing hhim, I mean besides the obvious exemption period which Hunt knew about.

I don't think he has anything without a smoking gun though, but will be intersting to see how it plays out.

Reminder that One-Eyed Mike took GSP to deep water :p
Took Silva into deep waters.
GSP finished him within regulation

...and lost by submission in the 3rd round...despite having a significant size and weight advantage and GSP coming off years of retirement.

But you're right, GSP is a bum because he beat the MW champ by submission in spite of all that. GSP bad. Grr. Big mad years later for no reason!

Hunt said that he believed Brock was juiced to the gills and he would still knock him out. He didn't come in blind. He wanted that check regardless then played victim after the fight

We all see things differently sir.

Oh shit, alright he's still in there swinging.
I thought it was over when he had to pay out.
This is actually pretty good news to be honest sir.

Thank you for that, for real.

Damn! I've heard that sometimes when you approach a lawyer, they'll neglect to tell you when you have a weak case. I wonder if that's what happened to him?

Thing is, I'm not sure he had a weak case or a shit lawyer tbh.
I mean you know the UFC have a team of lawyers and a shit ton of money behind them.

Dana use bispin for the UK market.

True! And Bisping been richly rewarded for it. Most of his best opportunities in life have come from his relationship with the UFC.

Mark Hunt on the other hand had much more success outside the UFC so he has fewer reasons to be loyal or put up with their questionable practices.

TRT was legal at the time. Bisping KNEW Vitor was on TRT when they fought. He still signed to fight him. So it's like if TRT was still legal and Brock was on legal TRT, would Hunt would have signed to fight a juiced or "enhanced" Brock or would Hunt want to get "enhanced" too to level the playing field. Remember Hunt fought in Pride for years where roids were legal. So maybe Hunt himself dabbled in PEDS when they were legal and knows their advantages. That's why he was so pissed at fighting a juiced up Brock. If TRT was legal at the time of their fight. Hunt wouldn't have a leg to stand on. UFC actively played cover for Brock, first with the waiver and 2nd not expediting his drug test results. Remember way back when when Jones fought Vitor, they told Jones hey Vitor has elevated levels and Jones was like its cool, because he's a user himself. I think same happened in one of the Jones vs DC fights. Jones pissed hot and DC was ok with it? Didn't want the fight canceled. I could be wrong on that tho.

Brock wasn't on TRT though.....

Bisping has a job for life with the UFC and made tons of money fighting, not much benefit in a lawsuit for him.

Grand, because we all know the legal system is always right and money plays no part in it at all.

The legal system isn't always right, but it sure as hell is a lot more credible than some random butthurt Hunt fan on Sherdog. More importantly, the legal system has the ultimate authority on this matter, while your opinion is just that, an irrelevant fan opinion. I got about 69 of these myself, including one which says Hunt sold Brock his PEDs and he filed the lawsuit because he enjoys getting fucked by Dana and the UFC, and that opinion is about as relevant as yours.

Hunto screwed himself by spouting a conspiracy theory that he has no proof of, now he's getting fucked 6 ways to Sunday by his own lawsuit, and the only thing he can do is lash out on Facebook because his Twitter and Insta already got deleted. Please cry more.

Was watching Bisping vs Anderson when that thought just popped in my head.
I can’t see a reason why Bisping wouldn’t benefit from similar actions and likely should have back then when the Vitor 2 fight ended with blindness

He lost.
