I'm not a Conor hater or anything, and certainly not a pro fighter, but when you come out and talk about being ready to die in the cage, you don't tap to a choke. If you get caught in a sub where your arm or leg is about to be broken, then you should tap, and you're stupid if you don't. But when you are being choked out, you fight with everything you have until you pass out. Holly Holm was throwing punches at an invisible oppenent while being choked into unconsciousness in the fight before Conor, and she never tapped. Conor tapped right away as soon as he felt that choke. I'm not trying to sound like a tough guy, if I was rear-naked like Conor was, I would tap too. But I also wouldn't tell the world that I was ready to die in the ring.

Because 99% of fighters don't say they can beat God...and then tap within seconds after getting put in a choke hold. Also, Conor always claimed he turns strikers into wrestlers, but Nate also says that...and guess who was "the psychic" for that one?

It's all promotion. It was bound to happen. When you talk that much, the people who are salty about your success will call you out for it. But with that promotion is why he made over 1mil disclosed salary and continues to rack in millions. I guess it's a double edged sword. He's a smart business man though, with a natural gift to promote himself. I guess that's just how life is. You have a huge rise, your going to have a bigger fall.
