Also, so I dont post twice. Yes he lost his chin which was never that great anyway. Fedor rolled with punches or was hardly hit to the head at all. When he was, we have seeen him chickendancing against Fujita or he took you down, recovered and punished for daring to mess with him. But, once that chin got cracked and he got to fight juiced up TRT Hendo TRT Silva and 'ehm' 'clean' Bader, donno. Cant prove anything but his prime was in Pride, lets be honest here. You can onle do so many miles in this sport and he was he is and ever will be The Last Emperor Goat Fedor Living Legend Emelianenko.

Don't forget, the same Bigfoot who clobbered Fedor was absolutely decimated by Cormier (while still in Strikeforce) and then destroyed twice by Cain BEFORE he was busted for PEDS in the UFC. So two other "undersized" HWs destroyed TRT Bigfoot three times within a couple of years after Fedor lost to him.

The mental gymnastics by Fedor fan girls is insane. And some of them are the same people who say 38-year old versions of Anderson Silva and Chuck Liddell were "never that good" when they lost their belts "because they were still basically in their primes."

That didn't stop Anderson Silva from destroying him...or Rampage and Jake Shields (later a WW) from beating him. Heck, Rich Franklin almost beat him around the same time...Hendo had to go back to "Decision Dan" mode and win via LnP wrestling because Rich was lighting him up on the feet.

DC is an all time great. The fact that he beat Bigfoot doesn't have any reflection on Fedor.

Bigfoot at his very best was a really good fighter who melted top 10 HWs like Reem and Browne and was competitive brawling toe to toe with Mark Hunt.

No intelligent fan has ever said Anderson and Chuck were peaking at 38 years old.

It's silly to say that when the UFC had known PED cheat Anderson go 16-0 under their banner.

If we want to go with doping accusations to discredit anyone from GOAT talks then at least let's focus on guys who have actually been suspended before.

I will never ever get over the fact that there's a group of fight fans( not just new ones) who don't understand the idea of wear and tear and fight age. Absolutely mind boggling

Bigfoot failed for PEDs before and after he fought Fedor. Fedor was past his best but was still fully capable of beating Bigfoot that night but allowing Bigfoot advance to mount was his biggest mistake and a death sentence. Bigfoot has a great top game.

As for DC...remember past prime Muhammad Ali lost to Berbick and Holmes. Young Mike Tyson beat Berbick and Holmes.

Ali and Fedor were fading legends. Tyson and DC were beasts on the rise. No boxing historian holds those losses against Ali. No boxing historian thinks Tyson is better than Ali just because he beat a couple common opponents. They were at completely different points in their careers.

I also think most people realize Anderson and Chuck were fading and past prime by the time they lost their titles as well. Chuck had a lot of wars and was old. Anderson and Fedor both got like 50 fights and were both world champions for 6 and 7 years respectively. Some people just don't understand how difficult that is. Fedor and Anderson are the 2 GOATs of MMA. They had the highest peaks and longest title reigns. Had they retired on top like GSP or Khabib, a lot of stupid MMA fans would hold them in higher regard. It's opposite for me. I hold Fedor and Anderson in higher regard for fighting into their 40's after 40+ fights. The losses don't matter. They weren't scared to compete and take the risk of losing.
