Why can't Keenan win @ big stage?

Its unfair to say this because Keenan is a young BB and only looses to top competition. I think its forseeable that he wins Worlds/ADCC someday. I also think its a shame Tim Spriggs wasn't invited. He beat Yuri just a month ago and was medaled at the last Worlds(robbed IMO).

legit attempt to answer the qiestion:

keenan's losses all seem to be against stronger competitors who can neutralize his open guard with strong pressure & good defense. so, to get over the hump once & for all keenan would need to either play a less open guard-centered game (perhaps as a top player), or play a more scrambly game that risks points to the benefit of more sub & dominant position opportinities

No joke I started wondering how much that was messing with him. Budo Jake made a comment about it being a rough weight cut? But I don't know if that was just speculation or not. I've had shorts that were too lose before and it was incredibly frustrating trying to roll and constantly have to pull them up.
