Tbf TJ has exactly cleaned out his division. Though if he beats Cruz I can see him doing it.

I really hope we get to see him vs Edgar at some point.

TJ got the title shot after beating Mike Easton who was on a 2 fight loosing streak.

He then went on to beat Barao which was by all account amazing, he then beat Soto who got brought in last minute and took him 5 rounds. He then went on to beat a completely depleted and different Barao.

If anyone considers TJ's record to be a strong as Cruz's then they are delusional.

The biggest thing going in TJ's favor is the fact Cruz may suffer some ring rust, however if he settle quickly into the fight you may see TJ be made a fool of.

Cruz uses his movement in a way that TJ does't. TJ will use the angles and footwork on the way in all the time, in order to confuse his opponent, however Cruz is cutting angles continuously , even when he is not throwing shots. On the way out he is switching stance, cutting corners and changing stances.

TJ I think may hit harder, but that has been shown against people who stand straight in front of him. He wont have that luxury with Cruz.

Should be a super fight and I am really looking forward to it.
