can't believe all these talking heads picking TJ...

That was when he had knees.

I couldn't help but lol. Also, he did that do MM years ago. I think the current T.J. is closer to or beyond this current MM way above the level of the MM that Cruz dominated.

Being active change the perception of who will win. After the Soto and Mizukagi fights, Cruz was the favorite but now after TJ destroyed Barao again, TJ is the favorite.

TJ beats cruz convincingly imo. Not even sure cruz gets past barao.

It's hard to believe Cruz will ever be close to same; it's pretty rare for an athlete to come back the same from a single major injury (especially knee injuries). Let alone how ever many Cruz has had (I'm honestly not sure).

I don't think GSP was ever nearly the same after his first knee injury; and I am no GSP fan.

Cruz is way more elusive than TJ. TJ uses more volume, but he gets hit more. Cruz would pick Barao apart. I think Cruz beats TJ in a competitive fight, but I think Cruz sets up his wrestling better than Killashaw.

Three torn ligaments, I think. It is horrible how many serious injuries the guy suffered. He makes Cain look indestructible by comparison.

I'm hoping for a good fight, and two healthy fighters. Here's to a War, and to two warriors able to walk (vs. limp or be carried) out of the cage.

Because Cruz looked like Mighty Mouse's dad, size-wise, and he won't when squared up with TJ?

TJ isn't as small at MM, though Cruz' wrestling is very underrated. Still, is Cruz going to make it to the fight? I feel for the guy, but with him, nothing is a lock.

tj has better movement and better box. He will win.

Same reason why Rashad struggled with Bader

If Cruz' knees show up to the fight he could do that.

I think its more of the injuries Cruz has suffered over the years that have people picking TJ in this fight than a knock on Cruz's skills. I still hope to see Cruz regain the BW title he never lost... but at this point its looking very unlikely. TJ has busy of late winning all 4 of his fights in 2014/15 while Cruz has only had one W in the past 4 years (Sept. 2014) due to his injuries.

Exactly. I'm picking TJ simply because Cruz can't stay healthy. If he never got hurt, he'd probably have beaten TJ by now.

If he comes in healthy he should be fine.

Cause MM was undersized for BW and Cruz basically used his size and strength advantage in that fight. MM was landing the cleaner strikes and his gameplan back then doesn't compare to wat he does now. A similar size MM takes it 50-45.

Cruz was smart and won that via being the bigger guy. Cruz vs TJ is almost a coin flip fight, unless a rusty Cruz shows up.
