Why are there so many Canadians in this lounge?

- I mean as a tag-team. As single wrestler, Bret, Christian and Edge are talents far above their peers.

I've read that Bret was really nice to fans, unlike his bitter persona!
I've met a decent number of them, never at events, because of where I grew up. A decent number of them seemed genuinely happy to talk to fans provided you're low key, don't interrupt them when they are with their family and treat them like humans, not their character.

You know where the name Mayberry came from right? Canada is like one big Mayberry (at least it used to be).

A female Quora user wrote a long love letter to Americans about the strength or their bond, and the family ties.

She updated that view on Americans after Trumps actions, in that same post. She no longer views Americans as family. Based on one person in power and his actions. What a moron.
Did you lose your way to Dear Cosmo again?

MMA is very popular in Canada, holding a similar crossover audience with hockey and Pro Wrestling. Toronto and Chicago tend to be the two consistently hottest markets for MMA and Pro-Wresting going back to the 1980s.

Sports like MMA are very popular across Canada, moreso than the NBA or NFL or MLB, because there is only 1 NBA team in Canada, 1 MLB team in Canada and zero NFL teams. Canadians who get to see live sports are more likely to see a wrestling event or MMA event than they are any other sport except for hockey. Canadians have to travel to see other sports while MMA/Wrestling/etc come to us.

Another thing about Canadians: we know how to read and write. The Canadian literacy rate is 99% with the 1% being American immigrants to Canada.

In the USA the literacy rate is 79% at the high end. (And a large portion of that number tend to be immigrants who were educated outside the USA.)

Since Canadians know how to read and write and like to talk about the sports they are interested in, it’s no big deal to sign up for a website like Sherdog to talk about MMA. It’s a casual, easy thing for a Canadian to do. Not so with your average American MMA fan, who tend to be cross eyed morons.

Is boxing popular?

Is boxing popular?

Yes, boxing is very popular in Canada. Lennox Lewis was basically a national hero when he boxed under the Canadian flag.

Every major city has a boxing gym and most have more than one. Bars fill up to showcase major PPVs and people will pay a front door price just get into the bar to watch.

Pac-Man vs Floyd cost 20 bucks a person just to sit at the bar and watch (in Toronto), for example.

Wat

I'm with you on the idea that Canadians aren't as stupid as Americans but these numbers...

All the microplastics from those milk bags have made Canadians more violent, so they tend to gravitate towards mma forums.
