I would not pay $10 for these paintings, but check out the price tag on the ones listed below. I guess it would relate to the artist, quality, materials used, period, and style. Paint on canvas. Some look like they were done by a 5 year old. Same for diamonds (carbon) and gold. Both are elements. Man has made the value of it what it is today. Funny what people consider valuable and what they are willing to pay for it.

The Card Players: $272,000,000

if you have to ask, you'll never know

this doesn't put a smile on my face

What is the cultural and historical significance of a Van Gogh self-portrait? Why aren't Hitler paintings going for this price?
in terms of art history and culture he was an influential painter.

Some people have more money than they know what to do with

Well, he was crazy. He cut off his ear and took it to a prostitute in France. Hitler was crazy too. He too did a couple of paintings that are actually better than Van Gogh.

Unique items that will never have an equivalent.

Usually pinnacle of a style or a renowned artist.

Gold and diamonds however I got no idea.

thats just realism. Alot of people can do that. Most people don't change the course of style in fine arts.

If that first painting sold for $272m then I don't even want to guess what a Rembrandt would cost.

If you can't tell why these pieces are special you are probably an alien.

Ok, I'll pay $1,000 for this one:

* It's worth $200.

I have 5 donkeys I rescued and raised. Are they for sale? No. Would I sell one to you for $1,000,000? No. What is a donkey worth? $100.

Not sure if he is an alien but was definitely involved in some anal probing.

Have you heard of supply and demand???

Yes. Does that explain why a 'shitty' painting sells for $272,000,000? I see more of a demand for the paining on post #15 than I do for those on post #1. I guess the price of 'shit' fluctuates with demand. Shit valued at $272,000,000 must be some good shit. I would like the name of the idiot who bought it. I have a couple of bridges here in Oklahoma I'll sell him for $1,000,000 each. ;)

Because people sre fuckin idiots
