Why Are So Many Upset About Biggi Boy's Release???

I think it’s a bad move. They invested in him and he’s been learning from the experience. He’s become a much better gatekeeper to incoming talent thru his experience there. Releasing him just drops that investment they’ve made in a talented kickboxer with lots of top level heavyweight ufc experience. Seems stupid to me.

They are probably just making room for new talent and keeping fresh faces in the division.

I am sure that from UFC's perspective, he's a journeyman who has no realistic shot of becoming a huge star or drawing PPV numbers. Sure he can beat lower ranked fighters and produce exciting knockouts, but in the HW division, 1-dimensional heavy hitters are a dime a dozen.

Hopefully he gets a good contract with PFL or Bellator, and he still might finish his career with a belt in one of those organizations

I think UFC should automatically keep all top 15 fighters no matter how many losses.
Agreed. You can't be the top org if you don't have the top fighters. They should keep everyone until they fall below the top 15.

And they kept 300 lbs ou of fighting shape tai tuivasa …
