Why are people acting like the first fight doesn't matter?

They're 1-1.

But an immediate rematch is not warranted. There are other contenders out there.

Dos Santos should get in the mix and beat someone in the Top 5 before he gets another shot. I don't think the first fight was a fluke but I think a healthy Cain Velasquez can do to Dos Santos in a 3rd fight what he did in the second fight.

Because a KO in the first minute tells you nothing and can be written off as a fluke or luck.

Imagine if JDS knocks out Cain very fast again, on their third fight? Would we see a rare FOURTH fight?
