My half sleeve on my left arm is a traditional Japanese piece which connects to a piece I have on my whole left chest I got a couple years prior. The samurai and dragon half sleeve (well connects around shoulder, traps to my chest) took 21 hours to complete, costing me roughly $4,000. not the cheapest! but then again I have another tatt which is a bit more western (less line work, more shading) and that costed only 800 bux for the other chest.
 
Show up to a new 100k IT job with a neck tattoo, nah.

The problem with neck tattoos is that same problem with other tattoos, except worse. Eventually you'll grow up and realize that having a dragon, or Chinese letters, or "destiny" written in cursive, or a cheeseburger, etc, etc, etc, is really not that cool anymore when you're 45. Much worse to have your youthful idiocy on full display than hidden under clothing.
