Was this confirmed ? He received backlash from those close to him which strongly suggests it might not have been the case and rather a prep problem. Case in point Fedors comment that he needs to “ draw his own conclusions”. You don’t make a comment like that if it was an injury problem.

But for arguments sake - what the hell are you doing entering a fight with severe rib problems ? If this is indeed the case then it is testament to his bull headed nature that is prevalently holding him back.

3.) Ali posted on Ank's twitter to get him a title shot (after Ank went through quite a long fight streak to get the shot while staying as quiet as can be). This is apparently an unforgivable sin.
