She's one of my choices as well.

It's weird because pop stars that have had her type of fame historically have had some sort of deeper innovation or culture influence (things like dance, fashion, lyrics) but with her like you said it's just some person whose average at everything. Really the only thing that maybe stands out is she's one of the few pop stars with age-appropriate lyrics but that's not really anything special

Elon Musket. Not saying he's done nothing but he's wildly overrated and circumstances and luck have most certainly contributed heavily to his success. He's like the Steven Jobs of this gen. Marketer, has made some solid decisions, surrounded by people MUCH smarter than him. Yeah, I’d have to agree that it’s musk. Which is sad because he did more to make electric vehicles mainstream than anyone (except the engineers, people who founded the company, workers, woman who invented the high efficiency battery, etc.). She passed the "baby bar" exam on the fourth try. That seems pretty good to me, considering no law school, but we don't have a base of comparison. Unless there's a chart of folks who haven't gone to law school taking the same exam showing the # of average tries, it's hard to tell how good an achievement it is. I think it is safe to say she's not a moron. She did marry Kanye, though. Hmm.

One answer I have is James Cameron. Dude made a historically inaccurate movie and parlayed it into becoming the world authority on the Titanic and deep sea dives. Most historians on the topic hated his stupid soft porno. He dragged several real peoples reputations through the mud with no historical basis other than his imagination including making up someones suicide. And then when something happens related to the Titanic he gets called by the media as an authority figure. What a sick joke.

Generally I believe this will be remembered as a time without signifigant leadership. While I generally mean world leaders I think this culture is going to be seen as incredibly vain. In a landscape where most famous people are competley undeserving of their prominence it is hard to pick one.

Musk seems to be overrated mainly by his fans(libertarian, MBA crypto scumbags). Whereas most billionaires are hated Musk is the only one who is seen as wildy incompetent and whom people laugh at.

Gretas perhaps the least evil celebrity. I do not understand why people consider her overrated. People mocking "how dare you" as if being mad about a existential threat makes you a karen are straight psychos.
