Who's the 5 most respected boxers of all-time?

Ali was honest to a fault. He may have made a better preacher or even his own brand of civic leader even though he loved the ladies too much. Ali used to say boxing was just a prep for what he was going to do next, that was before the damage made that all impossible. He was also very gullible, what else would you say about a guy who would demand his assistant give 10k to a bum off the streets or chew out his bloodsucking entourage out and then feel bad about it? That was willful stupidity because Ali wasn't a dumb man but he was still a mark for a lot of bad people.

Pac as president? I don't know, the religious fanaticism really might have made that difficult. We know he loves the poor though and that might make up for some mistakes, but again, power corrupts. Lots of seemingly decent people got ahold of some power and it warped them beyond recognition.
Guys like Pac & Ali could definitely be taken advantage of and they were. One might say "don't mistake my kindness for weakness" but often it's a thin line that separates them. If I made as much money as those two I'd donate some but I wouldn't just go around handing it out to anyone in need. Making that money came at the expense of their health so it's not wise to part with it so easily. Boxers can't seem to stay away from politics. Seeing Vitali Klitschko as the mayor of Kyiv was a bit weird at first but he's been a politician for like 20 years over there.

I agree, they ain't stupid though. Joe Louis describes a time when he had just gotten ahold of some money and immediately started giving it away, his wife asked him why he did it, he replied "it makes me happy" and she just said, "you must be insane with joy then". Fortunately for Ali, even though he was by accounts broke by the mid 80's, he had such name value that he could cash that in and live financially worry free. He needed it, I've read an account that I really believe, that he had to have an implant into his brain to quell the constant shaking, or else by the end of his life he'd have been just a mass of quivering flesh. Any kind of surgery like that wouldn't be cheap.

Klitschko in politics or even pac, they are such different countries that I really don't know what the problems would or wouldn't be. Obviously, an uneducated boxer or even just an educated but inexperienced boxer like Klitschko can't be the best candidate for that kind of thing. Pac has always been pretty dull so I don't see how he could really handle politics. How smart do you have to be to do those jobs? I don't know. I would think that being a moneymaking lawyer would take some brains but I've known a few and they don't seem that much different than anyone else. People used to say Reagan was "dumb as a post" and he probably was but he was pretty popular.

Look at his name and then the moronic statement of "Yea I dont respect him because he makes excuses."

He doesnt watch boxing. Hes a Floyd fan.
I'm a Floyd fan. He's from my hometown. So what? None of that is related to Pac's excuses. Look at his most recent loss to Ugas. He said he had cramps. He's full of excuses. I think the problem is you're too much of a Pacquiao fan to acknowledge it.

I've never cheered for Pacquiao in any fight. Except against Thurman and Ugas, just because he was old.

Then stop acting like a cheerleader. Pac makes excuses all the time. That's a fact. I'm not saying that as a Floyd fan, I'm saying that as someone who follows boxing.
