Real answer: No one in this thread has any idea.

No one knows for certain. True. But that is not at all the same as saying no one has an idea of which of the two is being paid more. There is a good deal of circumstantial evidence to suggest McGregor will make significantly more in this fight, and probably has already far exceeded Aldo's total UFC earnings.

I don't know, over 10 million dollars for a non-title fight seems extremely exaggerated. Especially since Conor has not actually sold anywhere near the top fighters like GSP, Lesnar, or Ronda. If he was pulling in a million PPV buys a fight maybe, but not currently.

He is. He's headlined one PPV--where his opponent pulled out right before--and it did a million. GSP's first PPV did half that. The UFC is paying Conor very well because they see more money in him than even GSP. The numbers don't lie.

Mcgregor by a longshot, he is the "star", even if Aldo is the more proven and current Title holder. Whoever sells the tickets gets the most money. If Aldo destroys Mcgregor I still bet Conor would make more money in his following fight.
